random things

heck i don't know what's up with me, coz i suddenly became a book reader. people know that i'm not into reading novels and stuff... but now it's me who's going in and out of bookstores and searching for good books to buy, even online (i should blame xtian and edpat for this, haha). i'm reading the da vinci code (just now? loser! haha again), and seriously rushing it before the movie comes out on the 19th.

ah. speaking of movies, mission impossible 3 is now showing on the theaters. have to see that, but a movie ticket here costs like 10 bucks.

i know it's still a little early, but i'm already starting to look for schools here where i could take up my graduate studies. i browsed the websites of Parsons School of Design and Columbia University, and read about their programs and application requirements.

and reality bit me. i should really be working my a** off during my last two years in UP arki (oh, not just UP, but the philippines). if i do want to take my masters here, i should stop bumming around and work on lots of good output. a portfolio's one of their requirements here, which i honestly do not have yet. *gulp* i should start working on that. compile everything nice.

haha. procrastinator jas. stop fooling around.

i've roamed around almost the entire city of new york, but only with my mom and sister... or worse, only by myself. and of course it's not fun being alone. yeah, the places are beautiful, but having no one to see them with sucks bigtime.
