happy!

i just had three great nights. consecutive to be exact.

it all started thursday right after submitting the construction plate. as i’ve said on my previous post, my friends rika, janmike, kristine and i went to I.O. KTV at the abs-cbn compound and sang all the way till one in the early morning. it’s been a while since the last time we’ve been together, hence we were so ecstatic that time.

and friday, i went to the UP Fair with some of the arki forum people (anj, noel, jika and jb) plus jika’s cuz rich and jb’s girlfriend jen. at long last, it’s fair for me again! i’ve skipped last year’s coz we were already in america then. anyway, twas another fun night filled with moments like jika and her alphabet and “oh-my-she’s-within-my-five-meter-radius!!!”. haha! not only that, I had the chance to meet and greet some of my high school friends whom I haven’t seen for a long time already, plus more arki people! jon and bea from AF, drea and company, some from the thesis people, and finally, friends from our arki batch like shayne, cza and mark.

and tonight, drea, jb, jika, yul and i went to ateneo to watch the play comfort woman. well, our main purpose for going was to actually make a case study of the theater itself. the problem’s that it wasn’t much of a theater like we all expected, but what the heck. we still took measurements and pictures right after the play.

the highlight of tonight: dinner with jika and jb. haha. aside from the great food we had on our table, our talks seemed so endless, from me being a part of their batch, to jika and her “kulit mo!” story, and to jb and his heavy bag. the three of us enjoyed the night coz it was another time for us to bond and have fun, away from all those school work.

and after those desserts, we’ve decided to go home.

i’ve just realized how close i am to my new batchmates already, and i’m very glad and thankful to God for that. you guys know who you are! ;p same goes for the AF people… astig talaga kayo! ;p

so, that was my three nights. i wonder what’s in store for tomorrow. hmm… i guess i just have to save it for school work. i’m back to reality by then.

at last

finally, construction major plate one is over and done.

that plate had been eating almost all of my time for the past few weeks, that i haven't even had the chance to go to the bank (which i've been attempting to do for two weeks now), go to the barbershop for a haircut, or simply even cut my nails.

imagine, having to fill in with working drawings twenty-five (and i say twenty-five) A1 sheets (yup, way bigger than A4) was hell time-consuming and tiring, that some of my classmates snapped even until the deadline.

and, looking back to the experience of working on that plate for around three months, it has given me an overwhelming sense of achievement, especially that very moment when i already fastened the sheets and handed them out to our professor.

it did pay off, coz all of us have learned a lot.

and so, i gave myself some reward right after submitting the plate (which was around 9 in the evening already), and went straight to rika's to pick them up and...

grabbed several songs from I.O. karaoke bar. haha. that one located inside the abs-cbn compound. twas my first time to go around that area, and i finally had the opportunity to see the pinoy big brother house!!!

haha. seriously, i was saying 'wow' over and over when i was driving in front of that yellow-colored house. i even tried to stop my car right then and there, but there were cars running behind.

alright, it's past four in the morning and i have class by ten... had only two hours of sleep last night, and now i only have five hours at most left for this night, or, erm, morning.

ahhh... i'm really glad major plate one is over. and i have to brace myself for the second. lesson, don't cram. start with the plate right after it has been given.

and i say,
