looking at these pictures, i've suddenly realized how time flies so fast. AF has many new young faces now, and most of the people that i've been with in the org for the past four years have already graduated. well, that's life. people come and go, but AF's gonna stay with us forever.

yikes, uber drama! forgive me, i just woke up! ;p

going to bed right after this post

wasn't able to post for the past two days coz i was so busy and i ran out of internet card AGAIN. hahaha. loser. maybe i should really subscribe for a DSL connection now. the thing is, it's gonna be another addition to my monthly bills.

so FIRST OF ALL, we're finally done with our first report on STS! yeah! :D i'm so relieved it's over, plus the class seemed to enjoy it, especially our skit and musical performance. laugh trip!!! but the coolest thing happened when my groupmate told me that she saw a 15/15 rating on our professor's paper. and i was so in disbelief, but i hope it's true!

and i started my post-birthday celebrations right after the report. i went to eastwood with rika and had dinner at the bed room. it's a new bar/resto, with a nice ambiance and waiters/waitresses are wearing... well, sleep outfits (pajamas and stuff). had starbs after to end the great night.

then yesterday, i went to UP in the morning to run some errands. i met up with mary to get some donuts over at cello's and sell them at arki to raise some funds for AF. the profit wasn't really that much, but for now, every peso counts. and at least we got the chance to talk to more arki people, and of course, publicize our org. :) went to AS after to see my cousin, and treated her to lunch at NISMED. i didn't eat that time yet because i planned to go back to arki after and have lunch there.

things were doing well until i had this sudden thought in my mind. gaaah. i told some of my friends about it, and all of them didn't even know how to react. so then i wasn't in a good mood, but still went to my arch 171 class, and accepted sir ramirez's request to have some readings photocopied. shayne went with me to SC, and noticed that i was spaced out for most of the time, that i didn't even seem to care about whatever's happening around. and worse, when we got back to arki, after handing out the readings to my classmates, i realized that i was left with nothing. mary forgot to write her name on the piece of paper that i took the count from, so we lacked one copy. meaning i have to have the readings photocopied again... for myself.

but don't get me wrong, i'm not mad at her. it's just that unfortunate incident that sucked bigtime. heehee. she didn't mean to not write on the paper, so there's no one to blame. alabshu mary! ;p

today's a great one. AF had its tambayan cleanup in the morning, with all the funny things and picture taking happening around, and had good cheap lunch at noli's. haha. we also had the last lecture of the shopping center design series which we had taken lots of ideas and information from... and finally, to end the long day, had movie watching here in the house. bro, scary movie 4 next time! haha!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY POL!!!

i'll post some AF cleanup pictures soon. :D

***

my birthday celebration continues!!! any ideas, anyone? my treat!!! for now i still have to figure out when i'll be celebrating with my 5th year friends, 4th year friends, college friends and high school friends on different nights. yes, four more birthday sets for me. ;p

and YOU. hmm... uh... what now?

still doing the report

due to uber boredom (though i've been doing lots of unwanted, or worse, dreaded work), i answered some online quizzes.

Your Power Level is: 77%

You're a very powerful person, and you know that all of your power comes from within.
Keep on doing what you're doing, and you'll reach your goals.

hmm. i'm more powerful than you bro. hahaha!

contrary to yesterday's so many activities, this day was so uneventful. i woke up at around 1 in the afternoon coz i stayed up late in the early morning till 5. then i continued working on our report for STS. oral presentation's taking place TOMORROW (ack), so i have to prepare myself for that by reading and reading stuff and practicing lines. hahaha. wish us luck!

*yawn*

hearing 'em raindrops fall on the rooftop now makes me wanna go straight to bed and sleep... haha. but no, gotta read more.

the day that was

my day is almost over. haha. it didn't turn out to be my ideal kind of day, since i had to do my STS report in the afternoon with my groupmates(up till now, actually), but i still had a blast, with all the people i've been with of course.

i went to bed late last night, around 3 in the morning, but couldn't sleep much coz my cellphone kept on buzzing with messages like every hour. haha. and the next thing i knew, edpat's waking me up! he went to our place and sneaked into my room. hahaha. it was already nine in the morning then, and the sportsfest's supposed to start by ten, so i rushed doing all the preparations and stuff, and talked to my family on the phone for around 20 minutes, till we were so late already. we went straight to the grocery to buy drinks and some food for AF, and finally landed at park 9 in katipunan.

and upon entering the gate, i was welcomed with a loud singing of "happy birthday" from the forum people and A-2! haha! so we had the games, and i easily got exhausted and rested for a while, then went back to the court for the final play... and there. so now, because of that PINGPONG SOCCER, i have 6 bruises, three on each knee. they're not supposed to be my birthday gifts, right? :p

the STS group meeting's scheduled at 2 in the afternoon and it was just a few minutes past 12. so i decided to invite all of them to mang jimmy's for lunch. my treat. there were around 20 of us and we were so busy laughing and eating at the same time. an execom meeting followed after, but i didn't finish it coz i went to vinzons to meet my groupmates.

and in vinzons, aside from seeing them, some of my arkikadas were there to greet me too. haha. :) but i had to leave them soon coz we went to our groupmate's boarding house to do the report, and finished around 7 in the evening. the whole time involved academic stuff, but we kept on cracking up because of the soooo many funny ideas we've been thinking to do for our oral report!

went straight to home since i didn't have anything to do anymore, and had dinner here with my relatives. the wine came after, and i challenged myself to drinking one glass straight. i'm 21 anyway. heehee.

now, as my day comes to an end, i feel so weird. seems like my day is incomplete. it's weird to be home so early, since for my past birthdays, i go home late in the early morning from evening celebrations. plus some other stuff's bothering me, so.

but you know what, all in all, it's still a great birthday. i was with my friends for almost the entire day, and spent quality time with my relatives in the evening. :)

alright, thanks for the greets y'all!

next week after STS report: PARTY!!! :D

21!!!

THIS IS IT! hahaha!

it's time to say goodbye to my young years, and now face the new stage of my life, that is adulthood. hahaha. debut! but i'm still young at heart, so. :p

i'm actually listening to some black eyed peas music (plus daniel powter's bad day) while doing research for our STS report. i honestly feel like dancing right now, in the middle of the night.

sige na nga, i did. hahaha! sira!

oh how i wish i could sleep now, so that i'd wake up early for the sportsfest. but no, still have to do some more stuff for, you know, STS. haha, the hell i keep mentioning that subject again and again!

alright, you guys can text and greet me now. :p

and thanks to everyone who did already!!! YM windows keep on popping and my cell keeps on buzzing! haha! you guys are the best!

legal jas! haha!

so i'm turning 21 in a few hours... it still feels the same, though i'm a year older. and my life is still messed up. haha! joke. well at least i can go to bars in the US already since i'm of legal age now. yeah right, as if i drink too much. *bwahaha!*

i didn't get the chance to update this blog yesterday coz i ran out of prepaid internet (sucks!). i sort of had my pre-birthday celebration at Omakase in eastwood with gegs, jik, loz, martin, nins and edpat. fun fun night with so many laugh trips, some even captured on video! plus my VERY FIRST TIME to eat raw food... sashimi! thanks for the memorable night guys!!!

the college of arki also had its annual general assembly. i was only there for like the first and last thirty minutes of it since i attended chem 1 and had a quiz. i got a perfect score! not to mention she's cute. *wink* haha! now i'm really liking chem! :p and after the assembly, the A-2 block had their picture taking session with arki forum! they're so energetic, cool and fun to be with. they all seem to get along well with each other. :)

oh, i remember the freshie days. those were like, um, four years ago for me!

and today's just an ordinary day. nothing much happened, except that xtian, edpat and i had stuffed ourselves with great food for lunch (in the car, haha) and loz and i had dinner while discussing our research proposal for arch 176. :D

so there. arki forum and the A-2 block will be having a sportsfest tomorrow in katipunan. of course i'll be there! can't miss the fun, especially on my day. :D but i have to meet my STS groupmates in the afternoon to do our report... shucks. oh well. still, happy birthday to me. i'll just move the celebrations to next week. :p

good thing we had fun listening to the lecture on shopping center design this morning. thanks, sir delotavo!

can't wait for the one-on-one interview. or, actually, the freebies we'll get after. ;p

and i think i'm going first. ulp. haha.

LTO, 197, STS

i went to LTO this morning to have my driver's license renewed since it's expiring on saturday, which happens to be my birthday. it wasn't that bad actually coz i finished in around an hour, which to me seemed like a miracle coz i expected to wait for a much longer time... so there.

so when i was waiting for my name to be called, a woman entered the place, and immediately caught the attention of all those bored people waiting for their transactions to get done. she *used to be* a celebrity person (coz i don't actually see her on TV anymore), and the first thing i remembered about her was when she performed at a daily noontime show with randy santiago a waaaay looong time ago. haha. and since she's all that, of course, she was given the priority in all the processes of what-the-heck. she got her license in like, ten minutes or so.

haha. i should have called my aunt from the main LTO office to tell the staff there to also give me priority. hahaha. but i decided to do things my way, without any help at all, and it's all good.

***

we had arch 171 and 197 today. and in 197, where i enlisted in Sustainable Development Topic Studio, sir nic showed us 6 projects to choose from -- actual projects in the campus which have not been made yet -- for us to design and work on. haha. what's more fun is that one of those projects involves the designing of the new UPIS building. xtian and i didn't have to decide what to pick anymore. it's already an automatic choice. :D

i could just imagine myself now walking along the corridors of UPIS again, after graduating from high school four years ago. hahaha. of course i have to go back there for the research and study part of the plate.

***

finally got the readings for the STS report... sheesh. good thing they're easy to comprehend. i so just hope we could make this report a great one in less than a week.

***

and, TACO BELL!!! hahaha! missed that so much! :p

so not fun

shit.

just when i thought i'ma have a good weekend coz of my birthday, things got fucked up and situations suddenly turned the other way around.

i really don't know how i convinced myself to take up chem 1 and sts as my GE (general education) subjects for this semester, along with five major subjects of course. even before i took MST domain (math, science and technology) subjects, i told myself not to take those two EVER. not chem because i really hated it way back in high school, and sts because of all the negative feedbacks i've been getting about it.

but what the heck, i still took them anyway. maybe just because it's sooo hard to get MST subjects in peyups, and i got the opportunity to have slots for those two.

and now i don't know if i'm gonna regret taking them. and it's just the second week of classes.

so this evening during STS, we were assigned our groups for the whole term. and you know what, out of the THIRTEEN GROUPS of EIGHT PEOPLE each (yeah, we're like a hundred and twenty there), our group was picked as the FIRST to report THIS COMING MONDAY, JUNE 26.

the moment i heard the professor say that, i felt doomed.

I'M MAKING AN STS REPORT ON MY BIRTHDAY?!

oh well. we only have a week to prepare for that, so we'll probably be working on it on the saturday. the 24th. my birthday. plus our class schedules don't seem to jive, so we don't have any choice but to meet on that day.

but on the other hand, if we look at the bright side things (haha), at least after next week, we won't be thinking about it anymore. tapos agad. plus our professor told us he'll be more considerate in grading our report, since we're only given a week, compared to the other groups who'll be reporting like, say july and august. hahaha.

so to all my friends out there, i probably won't have any celebration for this weekend. not even on my supposedly special day. but hey, i can extend my birthday till next week, right? haha. desperado.

gaaah. at least i'm starting to like chem 1.

for my dad

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

we're thousands of miles away from each other and i know you'll never read this here, but i still want to thank you for everything. and i mean everything. haha. miss you so much!

***

anyway, on other news, err... i suddenly realized that i have lots of errands for this coming week. my bumming around period is officially over now. time to work, work, and did i say work?

but of course, this next weekend, i'm gonna have a blast. i'll make sure of that. hahaha. celebrating birthdays is fun, but having in mind the thought of getting older sucks.

i'm back!

well, i'm here in the philippines again. it's been two weeks already since i got here, but i'm updating this blog just now. hahaha. i've been keeping myself busy with so many stuff, and it's just the beginning of a new semester. i have 19 units for this coming term, and i hope i survive. haha. not to mention AF's 25th year anniversary. ;p

hmm. let me recall my past 14 days, just to have something to write about. ;p

i came here june 2, friday. i fixed my stuff in the afternoon, and funny, i went straight to batangas the next day with my 5th year arki friends. it's their thesis year now, so we had some summer fun first before they begin working on that. hehe. one thing though, since i just came the day before the trip, i was still on jetlag. haha. at least they've been able to wake me up for the bonfire in the middle of the night (coz i went to bed like 7:30. so early! haha).

and then, school registration. 19 units. i'm 5th year on MTh and 4th year on TF. haha. also took an elective class on landscape architecture, and... *drumroll* my uber dreaded combo of chem 1 and sts!!! gaah. wish me luck!!!

so school already started last tuesday. freshies are here again. haha. and we're handling the A-2 block. so fun to meet new faces in arki. time to search for new members of our organization. anyway, most of our professors didn't show up yet, so my friends and i ended up going to different places, either to eat, or simply, hang-out. ;p

and finally...

i have a new car! well, i actually bought it second hand, but it's still in great condition. it's a green honda civic named PESTO (courtesy of meg). hehe. for the past days, we've already traveled to lots of places with him. :D

alright, that's it for now. hehe.

one week before i turn 21. i don't even know how i should feel about that. haha!

excited

past four in the afternoon. i'm back to my oh-how-time-flies-so-fast mood coz...

i'm leaving america in a few hours!!!

so my stay here is finally ending (for now). i really had a great time with my whole family. it's now time to leave them again, but it's all good. all will be fine. mom's even planning to go home anytime this year. :)

see you all soon!

P.S. the craziest thing happened last monday... dred and i saw each other at the mall in quakerbridge!!! hahaha! both of us were like, woah! so funny. ;p
